Time ROC ATAC S Clipless Pedals
The Time ROC ATAC S Pedals are constructed of a chrome steel axle, composite body, ATAC: Auto Tension Adjustment Concept - Foot retention is independent from spring tension, and Sensor angular feel adjustment. Stability, reliability, and a Self-Cleaning System with easy entry are just some of the benefits the Time Roc Atac S Pedals. Angular Float: +/-5 degrees, Lateral Float: 6 mm.
I've ridden nothing but ATACs for more than ten years, and when my older ones started dying, I had the chance to try both the S and the numbered series pedals. I prefer the S for the bars where the cleat attaches - the round bars feel more consistent as cleats wear, while the thick flat bars (on the XC 6, 8, 12 pedals) allow the cleat to slide side to side when the cleats are worn, or at least they did on the one pair of I had before I went exclusively to the round barred ones.
this is my third set of time mountain bike pedals. They live up to my expectations, are bullet proof and perform wonderfully. all my friends use time mountain bike pedals after I turned them on to them
I have ridden on Time ATACs for years and have had no problems. They give a solid platform and engage and release consistently. The cleats last a long time, which is good, as they can be expensive to replace. I would buy this pedal again.
I've ridden with Time ATAC pedals for about 12 years now. A couple of years ago tried some egg beaters and couldn't stand them because I was always comparing them to my ATAC. After about 6 years on my first pair I just replaced with these guys. The most solid, stable pedals I've every ridden on. Gonna be a hard sell to get me away from my ATAC's.
