Great tires - May 11, 2015

I have this tire (in 26") for my stumpjumper and love this tire. It has great grip and is fast rolling. It is best in dry and ok in the wet. The tire also wears very well. I can't speak for the 29inch version of the tire but for New England riding in the dry and more cross X /trail riding this tire is great.

Rugged Tire, Confident Cornering - Apr 14, 2015

Newbury Park, CA

Bought a pair to these Tioga's based on price and customer reviews, and like all others have said, this tire is a rock star. Rolling resistance and total weight are a little more than others (thus the 1-star deduction). Those two issues aside, this tire inspires confidence to corner hard, hammer through rock, root, and gnarly trail conditions. Running the Psycho Genius tubeless on the front of my Niner Air 9, and i never think twice about whether this tire will bite or not. Always great traction, Tough side walls. Would like to see Tioga make a cyclocross equivalent of the Psycho G - with lower profile knobs of course. 3 years on the trails (mostly loose over hard-pack) and these Tiogas still look new.

Wanting it all! - Apr 12, 2015

phoenix, AZ

I was looking for a cheap tire that I could beat up in the Rocky phoenix trails of Arizona. I grabbed this tire not expecting much for the money and put it on the back of my bike for climbing. The hook up climbing is fantastic and works great with stans tubeless.

Bullet Proof - Jun 10, 2014

CHESTERFIELD, MO

This is the toughest tire I have ever used. It is rock solid and bullet proof. I run tubeless and eventually have problems with nearly every tire. These will last forever. They are certainly not the lightest tires out there. They are pretty heavy. You might not want them for a race, but they are a great everyday tire.

Psycho Genius - Apr 26, 2014

COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, UT

This tire provides lots of traction in dry conditions. The more you tip your bike over in the corner the harder it digs in. On the other hand it rolls a bit slower than others I have ridden.

Price and performance - Jan 23, 2014

Riding these tires on trails in the Phoenix, AZ area. These trails are brutal on tires, especially sidewalls. It amazes me how that little bit of texture on the side wall protects from cuts from sharp rocks. They corner great as well. Used to think I was to heavy to take corners to fast because I would always wash out when I was running Hutchinson Toro's, but once I put these Tioga's on I gained confidence quick once I realized I could carry more speed into corners. I love these tires and its a huge plus they are so cheap. Set them up to run tubeless using Stan's was simple and fast.

Have your cake and eat it too - Nov 05, 2013

I live in a place notorious for destroying tires. Spending $80 or more on a tire is just not practical for me. I heard good things about the Psycho Genius and the price was right, but man has it exceeded my expectations. It rolls faster and hooks up better than other trail tires I've tried. Not to mention that it's held up longer than my previous 6?, 7?, 8? tires from every brand (Kenda, WTB, Maxxis, Specy, Panaracer). I've been running it on the rear of my full suspension, but I'll probably buy a few more of these for all applications.

these guys really inspire confidence in turns, and hold tight on the ups, but they aren't at their best in wet conditions. And they don't grip on asphalt very well (not that anyone should be wasting time riding their 29er on asphalt). All in all, recommended.
