So you found your work stand, but you're probably going to need a tool or two before you can work on your bike properly. We've got plenty of individual bike tools.
Bought this stand as a 'traveler' (I have shop @ mi casa with a shop-grade stand). it is really solid for a 'folder', and the way it folds up is perfect or travel to events. The travel bag and tool tray (included) are wonderful. Highly recommend.
I bought this stand to start working on my own bikes. I absolutely love it! It's light and durable and collapses down to a manageable size. I have a friend with a park tools stand, and he was jealous of this stand. Buy it!
U get a lot 4 ur buck. For its price u can't get a better stand, I've a 34 lbs mountain bike and I can do everything on this stand from washing to fully assembly a bike. There are better stands, yes. But U will pay big buck for it. My 2 cents
I started a mobile bike repair business this year and needed a durable stand at a low cost. I have used this on the job for several months and consider it my best purchase in starting the business. It is light, strong (holds heavy Wal-mart bikes), and folds down in just a few seconds. I have to say, it also looks very cool when I whip this out of my car and set it up so quickly as it has a very professional industrial appearance.
I can't say I was "wow"ed by this when I got it in. It has a lot more plastic parts than I would like but so far it's been stable. It holds my bike in place. Do I sort of wish I would've spent a little more money to get an upgraded stand? Probably but that wasn't an option for me. I needed a stand ASAP and this was what I could afford. It's been worth the money so far.
I like this work stand. It's great for everything that one would use a bike stand for. It has great price and is very functional.
This stand works exactly as advertised, like others have said you may have to adjust the teeth a little in the head but its no big deal. It is fairly stable even on my heavy bikes (30+ lbs) and I have no complaints.
This stand is very stable and with the tool tray and case included, its a steal. I only do basic cleaning and minor maintenance but you can definitely do more on this baby.
I have been using this stand for over a year now. It gets the job done. Easy to adjust for height bike tilt and clamping. The clamp is somewhat bulky so fitting it in tight space (kids bike) may be tricky. The biggest drawback is a tendency to tip when working on longer wheel frame bikes or really heavy bikes. It folds up nicely. The rotating clamp is nice but I had to adjust the locking lever so the teeth would fully engage and not slip. It also works well if you just hang a bike with the seat for a quick run through. My original purchase was missing a bolt. Price Point quickly sent me a whole replacement clamp. Outstanding customer service.
