Great stand - Aug 11, 2014

Centereach, NY

This stand performs all functions as expected. It is very adjustable clamp the frame or seat post the height is very adjustable so no more hunching over to work on the cranks It is sooo light yet stable at the same time. I love the parts tray, it is larger than I thought and can be bolted down or just hung on its pins for temporary use. My only gripe is that the jaws on the clamp could have a little more throw distance... its sometimes tricky to get the seat post into the clamp while having enough clamping force to hold the bike,... it might require a turn of the know in addition to pulling the clamp lever... no big deal

This is an update to an earlier review. My only concern from my first review was the plastic teeth on the rotater. I'm happy to say they are holding up very well. After much usage they still show no sign of wear. I've upped my review to 5 stars. Well worth the money for this repair stand.

Great stand, the bag comes in handy, and the parts tray means no more kicking loose parts across the garage. The stand is light weight, but strong enough to handle most bikes with ease. Other reviewers worry about the teeth on the arm not being up to the challenge, but that's just not an issue.

Excellent Stand for the $ - Apr 28, 2014

STRUM, WI

It was exactly what I was looking for. I had tried a Tacx Cyclestand, but it didn't work with my Carbon frame bike. I did some wrenching on my bike last night with this and loved it. Quick setup, Sturdy and easy to put back in the bag. The only thing they could improve on would be to make the pocket on the bag larger to hold the Tray. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to do some of their own work.

Excellent tough & sturdy Work Stand! - Apr 28, 2014

Peoria, AZ

I received the Titan work stand about 3 weeks ago and I wanted to wait a bit before giving my 2 cents. The work stand works great, it's sturdy, easy to setup and the carry case is a major plus. I've taken it on 3 bike trips and it has paid for its self 10 fold allowing me and buddies to setup a quick work area out on the road. I bought it on the 12 hour $99 sale, but even at the $119.98 price, you won't be disappointed. First of many more purchases for me at Price Point, thanks again Erik.

A Great Stand - Apr 23, 2014

BOISE, ID

I had this stand up and working on my bike within 5 minutes after opening. It's very sturdy with ample adjustments for any angle, bike frame or height. I'm excited to be able to travel with this guy and not have to work on my bike while it's on the car rack. This work stand has everything I need (love to work on bikes, but would rather be riding and beating them up).

STands up to it All! - Apr 23, 2014

Helena, MT

The titan work stand is an incredible friend to those who work on their bikes. Whether working on my tri, road or mountain bike...the Titan holds up its end of the deal. Easy one handed top clamp securely holds any size top tube and allows you to rotate to different angles. Quick releases on the riser allows you to get your bike to the right height to save your back some pain. Sturdy and wide base allows you to put some muscle into the wrench without tipping over. Attachable tray holds the nuts/bolts and wrenches where you need them. Carrying bag a bonus if you are taking it on the road with you. The titan is a "go to" stand for home wrenchers for sure!

MILWAUKEE, WI

I have been shopping stands for about five years and this is the best price. I was afraid it would be cheep but it's solid and well built add a tool tray and travel case and it's a steal at the price. No more fighting my bikes when I work on them. No more grabbing a tool and watching my bike slide off my makeshift support! Thanks guys!

Nice stand - Apr 23, 2014

CAMBRIDGE, MA

I love this work stand. I picked this up from Pricepoint on sale and it has been in use since the day I got it. I just started tinkering with my bikes and having a good work stand changes everything. This stand works well for all of my bikes, from my fancy mtb to my junky commuter bike. The bag will be nice when I bring the work stand to an event where I think I will need to do my own repairs. Overall- excellent work stand at a great price.

Pleasantly surprised - Apr 20, 2014

CALGARY, AB

Ordered this stand when it came up during PP's one day sale, thinking I really need one but not willing to pay the $$$ for some of the more expensive options. All the reviews I read were good so I was pretty confident in purchasing. When the unit arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. It feels very solid, easy to set up, easy to operate and packs down well making it easy to throw in the car for road trips. The clamping mechanism allows you to adjust the clamping force just right, so you won't damage your frame. The plastic teeth mentioned in other reviews are a non issue. They are used on the head angle adjustment (to level the bike once clamped), but chances are you probably won't be adjusting it that often, and as long as you adjust it with the weight of the bike off the clamp then I can't see ever wearing out the teeth. I set up the heaviest bike I own on it (28.5lbs) and the stand felt solid and no slippage on any of the height or angle adjustments points where skewers are used. The carry bag is a nice bonus, the tool tray is useful for smaller parts and tools, but not really large enough for bigger stuff. All and all an excellent bike stand that I would recommend to anyone. I can't believe I waited this long to purchase a stand, the stucco on the side of my house will thanks me!

AZ Triathlete Titan Work Stand Review - Apr 09, 2014

Tucson, AZ

I just received my work stand this morning. I set it up immediately, and quickly noticed it is far superior in every way, and lighter than my previous stand that is of similar design, but a different manufacturer. The features, the ease of setup, the case, the light weight, and added tool tray make it a fantastic replacement for my older travel stand. I will enjoy years of satisfaction as a result. Oh, and did I mention I got it on the one day sale for $99. Bonus on the score!!

got this stand a while ago ,just wanted a cheap work stand . Was worried about the plastic teeth that hold the head but i have turned the stand over with bikes on it several times and it has held up . nice and light great to take on the road . only dislike is clamping up bike is slow and have to screw in and out handle before flipping lever . not a big deal but threads are fine so takes several turns.

Great Work Stand. - Apr 02, 2014

Tallahassee, FL

Bought this stand thre months ago, and use it several times a week. It works great. Love the included tool tray, makes keeping your little tools and parts close by. I have used the stand in a number of positions and the stand handles the bikes with aplomb. I wouldn't worry about the plastic teeth, it hasn't shown a bit of wear. The height adjustability on this stand makes working on different parts of the bike a breeze, and easy on the back. The stand is portable and durable. I have used it in my garage and at the trail head. Great tool for the price. I would highly recommend this product.

Ok, after some modification - Mar 16, 2014

3 out of 5 stars
Cape Cod, MA

We ordered two of these; the packaging isn't very protective and one of the two arrived broken. PP was great, and sent us a new one upon return of the broken item. Upon assembly, when fully cranked down the plastic clamp on the main stem of the stand didn't provide enough force to keep the main tube from sinking under the weight of the bike. But after a little modification, it appears to be holding fine. We had to add a few washers since the diameter of the lever was larger than the space provided and remove a bit of material so that it could clamp tighter, but that solved the problem. The jaws that hold the actual bike have worked fine so far, although I wouldn't say they're great. The teeth on the head where it allows you to rotate the jaws have more play in them than is ideal; the bike wobbles around a bit even with it cranked as tight as it'll go. Hopefully they'll hold up. All in all, it's a good rack for the price, as long as you're willing to fiddle with it a bit to get it to work properly. Folds up nicely to store in the corner when not in use, which is a great feature.

I love this stand. It is well designed and well-built. The other reviewer expressed concern about plastic or resin teeth on the rotating head. I'm not concerned about this as I always mount the bikes by the seat post to the sstand, so I will not be changing this position very often, if ever.

Just set up this stand. It seems pretty sturdy. It sets up very easily, adjust well and keeps the bike where i put it. My only concern is the plastic teeth of the rotater. They may be the weak link. Still, for the money it is hard to pass up. will update after using it for a few weeks.
