Topeak Road Morph G
The idea that changed the mini pump world forever. Morph technology features a T-handle, fold out foot pad and flexible hose -- makes a mini pump act like a floor pump providing more volume and higher pressures faster than any other type of mini pump. Designed with a dial gauge for perfect inflation every time.
This is a fantastic pump, it's a bit large thus not a mini pump, and ungainly looking but that's what makes it work far better, not just a little better, but far better than any mini pump. It takes a lot less strokes and force to get to 100 psi than any mini pump I've ever used and in fact it reminds me of a full size frame pump in the ease of air delivery even though it's about 1/2 the size of a full size frame pump. This pump is so good a person really wouldn't need a floor pump because it has a fold out handle plus a fold out foot peg. The gauge is not extremely accurate, it's off on mine by about 3 pounds which isn't a big deal. Now you're probably wondering why I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5 star rating, there is one glaring problem with this pump and it's the bracket, it's called a center line bracket which means it attaches to the frame and not along side a bottle cage and thus it has a tendency to move a bit while riding. I find this very odd that a pump this good has a mediocre mounting system, but if you can overlook that one flaw you'll get the most capable pump on the market that can be attached to a bike.
When i was looking some pumps i saw this one and i when i bought it i get in love, works amazing, you can travel with it in your camelbak and use it with the advantage of floor pumps, great value, great price, great everything!
This thing is boss. I especially like how well it mounts to my bike.
Great product for a road bike to have attached. Does NOT replace a floor pump. While not the volume of a floor pump, you can get a road tire pumped up in a minute or so, with a bit of upper bod workout most roadies can handle. Handle and foot foldout allow relatively easy pumping. No worries about blowing off a cartridge. Weighs similar to a co2 inflator with a couple cartridges
My morph pump has been going strong for 8 years now. It's been through 2 services which involves disassembling everything, cleaning it out, and regreasing. It pushes a lot of air and can pump road tires past 100 psi and fills 29er tubes in a decent amount of time. Only complaint is the shape of the handle. It puts a lot pressure on the palm and a real T handle would probably work better. Short of the Lezyne, this is about the best you can do having a floor pump on your bike.
Great pump, easy to use and stays on the valve without pulling on while you pump. A little hard to read the gauge but otherwise well done
