Tri-Flow Superior Lubricant
Tri-Flow Superior Lubricant is a high quality, light viscosity, deep penetrating lube suitable for multiple applications. The drip bottle comes with a convenient straw attachment that allows you to apply lube to even the most hard to reach moving parts.
High-grade petroleum oils provide optimum lubrication even under extreme temperatures (-60 to 475 degrees F) and humidity. Formulated solvents soften and remove dirt and contaminants while special additives displace moisture and prevent rust and corrosion.
From lubing pivots, cable housing, sliders, springs, and just about anything else, a bottle of Tri-Flow should be in every mechanic's kit. My only question is: in your opinion, does it smell like bananas or blue cheese?
great lubricant at a great price, works great and doesnt leave a mess behind
This was recommended to me by a professional bike mechanic. I use it now for most lubrication needs on the bike. Cables, pivots, derailleurs, chain, chainrings, cassettes.
very impressi è andata useful, tue best of
I do all my own bike maintenance and use this lube for everything that requires lubrication. Good price too.
Tri-Flow is a light oil that seems to dry to form a light grease. I find it to be well suited to use on chains during the wet and nasty salted roads months of year here in PA where a more "dry" lube like ProLink would not be sufficient to prevent rust but a straight-up grease would be too messy. The spray bottle form of Tri-Flow is great for a quick, penetrating application to your chain in the foulest days of winter. It also works well on cables and derailleur pivot points, especially since they include the straw applicator. The only bad thing about the stuff is that it attracts dirt and crud builds up quickly wherever it is applied, making it a poor choice for dusty conditions. Did I mention it smells like bananas? Mmm, Tri-Flow...
This Lube works fine. The price is legitimate as well.
Tri-Flow Superior Lubricant is one of those lubes I've used for years and always loved. It works great for cables and about any other part of a bike you think of. The little bottle lasts a long time and is well worth the price. I'd recommend this product to a anyone doing any kind of cycling.
Ah the smell of Tri-Flow in the morning. Different lubes come and go but this classic stands the test of time and chain. A great lube for dry to damp conditions for everything from chains to cables. Makes things slick and quiet without accumulating any dirt.
Not bad, but I am still looking for the perfect lube for all of my moving parts. This one just doesn't seem to cut it for me.
This isn't a chain lube, let's get that out of the way first. Instead, this stuff is a lubricant that's good for...Pretty much anything else you can think of! I even use it around the house whenever something needs to stop creaking, groaning, or squeaking! And of course it's great for every part on the bike that needs lubricant; even works as a penetrating oil in a pinch for sticky bolts! Awesome stuff, and that little bottle lasts a LONG time!
Work great on components. Never had a problem.
I did not like this for chains. Couldn't keep it on my chain a full ride. Started using this to help clean my chain as a way to use it up. Used another lube to keep chain lubed. Also tried it on cables but not sure I prefer it there either. All around I just don't like this stuff. Could be the amount of water I hop through on my rides. Not good in mud either.
I have used this in a variety of ways including lubing up my dropper post lever. It works great.
great lubricant as long as you clean before you apply it.
I use this lube for components and cables and use a cleaning style lube for my chain. This works great for chains too but you'll need to clean any really dirty chains well before applying. Comes with that straw applicator thing that helps you reach tight spaces.
Works like a charm and easy to apply with included tube thingamajig. Great price, too!
