Having owned a troy lee full face for sometime I thought it was worth a shot trying the A1 when my giro zen broke on a cold winter ride. The first thing I noticed as with any tld products was the great looks and colors. The helmet fits great and protects well, I like the tightening ratchet and fit. It feels a little heavier than my xen but not much. I've read other reviews that say it's hot in the summer but if you working hard enough your head would be hot wearing a cold six pack of craft beer. Time will tell if this bucket is durable but so far so good. Cheers
