167-mile ride test...PASSED - Apr 16, 2014

I weigh 225 and rode this thing on an MS150 ride, 90 miles on Saturday and 77 on Sunday. Zero butt pain. Is there anything else you can say about a seat? Can it possibly serve any other purpose than to cushion your posterior? And for forty bucks? My buddy rode a $150 seat and had pain all the way. Who made the better choice? Buy this seat!

Best seat I've owned - Apr 16, 2014

When I first decided to get back on a bike to get in shape I had a long struggle with getting a seat that worked for me. After going through about a dozen I finally came upon WTB and the Pure V. I was told by many people it's a good seat so I gave it a try. Heavenly! This was the first seat that didn't cause me to go numb. On top of that, it had just the right amount of padding for my bones to rest on. Many seats had too much padding and would cause additional numbness on my cheeks. The WTB Pure V fit about perfect in every way. My original Pure V Race has been in use for almost 3 years now and I have bought a Pure V FR for my downhill rig and another Pure V Race for my girlfriends bike because I've been so happy with them.

Great saddle for a clyde. - Apr 15, 2014

I did some research which pointed me to this saddle. I'm currently 6'3", 255 pounds and needed something more comfortable since the thinner race style saddles were causing me discomfort. I was getting numbness from the previous saddles I had, but the width of this one has really been good for extended rides. I don't even notice that it's there, which is a good thing.

I'm 225 and I ride this seat on both my bikes hard and long. I've never had one second of pain, chafing, or anything. I don't know why anyone would need a more expensive seat when this one does exactly what a seat should do. Comfort for a heavy ass on a long, rough ride. Can you ask any more?
