Solid Body, crappy guts - Apr 28, 2014

Like the first review says, the pedals develop slop in them rather quickly. I noticed significant play in one pedal after 2 months or ~ 200 miles of riding and I'm pretty easy on my gear (~125 lbs and don't ride in mud). They have an inboard DU bushing and an outboard cartridge bearing - neither of which Price Point or any other retailer sells for repairs. Wellgo customer service is pretty much non-existent. It's a shame Wellgo doesn't provide replacement parts. The body of the pedal is a good size, not too tall, and the pins grip well and are durable. If I could rebuild it I would and I'd give it a higher rating.

Very Light - Very Smooth - Sep 05, 2013

LAWRENCE, MA

The B131 is one of the lightest platform pedals out there and they rotate on super smooth bearings as well. Mine weighed in at 372 grams which is over 100 grams lighter than most other pedals around and 100+ g's makes a noticeable difference. A DH type may want something more burly but these are great for cross country and urban environments. Well worth the PP deal on them.
