Center Lock vs. 6 Bolt Rotors

>Center lock rotors use a spline system on the hub and rotor interface which facilitates easy installation and removal. The 6 Bolt Rotor is a standard used on all 6 bolt interface hubs. Both rotors are cross compatible between brake calipers. Adaptors are available for center lock splined hubs that allow 6 bolt rotors to be attached. Oversize Center lock is used on Shimano Saint rotors and Hubs.

Rotor Size

> Three sizes are available for Rotors, 160mm (6"), 180mm (7"), and 203mm (8"). The larger the Rotor equates to better stopping power and modulation.

-When installing a 6-Bolt Rotor always tighten in a star-cross pattern to ensure even pressure.
