Sharing many design features as the Deus crank, the Race Face Atlas X-Type Crankset is a beefed up version of the Turbine LP, designed for All Mountain riding. If you want a crank that’s light enough for XC climbs but strong enough for light freeride use, the Atlas crank is the perfect choice.

Included with the Race Face Atlas X-Type Crankset are the XC/All Mountain X-Type BB Cups. They are forged, CNC machined & tapered from high-strength aluminum to minimize the weight. Massive external bearing have 35% larger ball bearing than internal system, yielding vastly improved durability. Double sealed cartridge bearings feature a special full- complement construction. This doubles the amount of ball bearings in the cartridge and effectively doubles the load carrying capacity of the bearings.

-A true All Mountain Crank – Light enough for climbs and strong enough for descents.

-Built in Race Face’s BC manufacturing facility.

-Manufactured from Optim-Al – one of the strongest, most fatigue resistant aluminum alloys available.

-Near net forged and fully CNC machined.

-Stiffer and stronger than the Turbine LP – the original all mountain crank.

-Built in spacers alloys the use of shorter bolts – providing and additional weight savings.

-Medium walled, heat treated CrMo spindle

X-Type Explained:

X-Type features an integrated bottom bracket using 35% larger ball bearings than internal systems. A pipe billet spindle, semi permanently mounted to the left crankarm allows for increased rigidity and bearing lift. X-Type offers 3mm of chainline adjustability and the same frame to crankarm clearances as ISIS drive.
