Want to descend faster and with more control? The single best way is to lower your seat. You will feel an immediate change in the way your bike handles. Lowering your center of gravity means better balance, more control, and more confidence, which gives you the ability to go faster. Ride sections you've only walked before...Maintain speed in sections you've backed off in the past...Extra safety on downhill and tactical sections.
When raised, the Gravity Dropper Seatpost provides the most efficient position for climbing and all level terrain. To deliver maximum power to the pedals, you must have your seat in a raised position. Many bikers compromise their seat height for more technical riding. For example (keeping seat height of road bike higher than their mountain bike). With GravityDropper, there is no compromise. Seat High for power and climbing. Seat low for descending. With GravityDropper, it takes a fraction of a second to raise or lower your seat.
Approach the descent, push the switch on your handlebar, and sit on the seat. Your seat is now locked four inches lower. To raise, push the switch and sit up. There is a cable that goes from the unit on the post to your handlebar. The Gravity Dropper's Patent Pending design is mechanical. There are no seals to blow and no oil to leak. It is an enclosed unit which minimizes dirt and mud entering. Moving from one position to another is done in a fraction of a second.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a RIGHT HAND lever.

Product Questions & Answers |

Question: Will the Gravity
Dropper Seatpost work with an I-Beam
Saddle?
Answer: No, an I-Beam
saddle will only work with I-Beam
specific seat posts. The I-Beam
system uses an integrated composite
base and clamping area. The I-Beam
system eliminates popped and bent
rails forever while shedding
weight.
Question: How can I
determine what size Gravity Dropper
Seatpost Fits my bike?
Answer: You can
determine what size Gravity Dropper
Seatpost fits your bike by checking
your current seatpost. Most seatpost
have the size stamped into them.
Remove your current post from your
bike it should be stamped near the
maximum height line. If your current
post is not marked check with your
frame manufacturer to determine the
proper size seatpost.
