WTB Dual Duty FR 29er Rim - Cross Country & Trail

The workhorse series of the WTB rim line, the Dual Duty rims are built WTB tough. The V-brake compatible sidewalls feature a new CNC-brake surface process and integrated wear indicators. The doublewall, triple-hollow design is refined in appearance and dependably rugged out on the trail. Whether built for XC, cyclocross, or for freeride usage, these rims lace up true and maintain their composure for the long haul.

Wear Indicator: Groove in the breaking surface of the rim that indicates when the rim needs to be replaced due to sidewall braking wear.

WTB 29er: WTB 29er rims have an ETRTO of 622mm diameter and a minimum bead opening of 21mm. Note that rim width is the defining element separating 29er rims from trekking, hybrid, and road racing rims.
