FTS L (Force Transfer System Light)
The reinforcement of the key transmission components brings a lighter and stronger hub to allow the energy to flow freely to the entire wheel. The ‘FTS Nose’ is an extension of the hub body that goes inside the freewheel body. The contact zone between the pawl and the FTS Nose is reinforced by 2 stainless steel inserts, which allows for manufacturing an all aluminum, mono-piece hub body. The pawls are centered exactly in the middle of the freewheel body.

H2 (Hammer Hardening)
Hammer Hardening, or H2, is the local strengthening of the rim in the area where the spokes exert the greatest force. This improves life expectancy and the resistance to micro cracking. Reinforcement of the area around each nipple hole by hammering to compress the material of this sensitive zone. The rim can be eyeleted on top to even more improve resistance.

QRM (Qualité Roulements Mavic®)
The sealed cartridge bearings on all Mavic hubs are exceptional: they are easy to maintain, produce low friction, and are interchangeable. These sealed cartridge bearings are removable and micro adjustable, allowing you to easily and quickly adjust your wheels according to performance goals: high precision adjustment for maximum fluidity, or set tighter for all weather rides. Sealed cartridge bearings that are serviceable, mounted on a special axle featuring a "bearing support ring" to adjust play.

UB Control (Usiné Brut Control):
The braking surfaces are milled to improve braking friction and eliminate shuddering. The sidewalls of the rim are milled with a diamond point on a digitally controlled machine after assembly and anodization.
