Reelight lights are daylight running lights for bicycles. With Reelight, you always have lights on your bike – day and night! The permanently fitted magnet lights flash when the wheels rotate and therefore work without any batteries. Reelight is a safe and solid solution that improves your freedom in traffic.

The lights are based on the electrodynamic induction principle, and work when you screw two magnets on the spokes and fix the light to the wheel’s hub. Electric current is then produced when the magnets pass the light, which incorporates a spool of copper wire. The light then flashes every time the wheel rotates. Simple, effective and ingenious.

Reelight’s patented magnet lights are a simple, durable and reliable solution. The lights are easy to fit – all you need is a screwdriver and an adjustable spanner. The self-sufficient induction dynamo, the high-quality light diodes and the powerful neodynium magnets guarantee quality and durability.

Reelight SL120 Power backup flash while your bike is in motion, and continue to flash for 2 minutes after you have stopped thanks to a built-in capacitor which stores current when you are cycling. SL120 flashes constantly at 120 flashes per minute – whatever your speed. How does the Reelight SL120 2 LED Front & Rear Light Set work?

Answer:
The Reelight SL120 2 LED Front & Rear Light Set flashes while you cycle and continues flashing for up to 5 minutes after you have stopped. This is thanks to a built-in capacitor which stores the power while you cycle. The SL120 flashes depending on how charged up the capacitor is. It is important that the capacitor is fully charged the first time you use the lights. It takes about 15 minutes of brisk cycling before the light starts flashing.

On which bicycles can you mount the Reelight SL120 2 LED Front & Rear Light Set?

Answer:
Reelight SL120 2 LED Front & Rear Light Set will fit 85 per cent of all cycles. The exception is bicycles with large disc brakes (larger than 160 mm in diameter) and cycles with only a few spokes. If you are in doubt about whether Reelight lights can be fitted on your bicycle, either ask your local bicycle shop for advice or write to Reelight at info@reelight.com.

Question:
Does it matter having disc or roller brakes?

Answer:
Yes – having disc brakes will mean that the distance between the light and the magnet will be too large when you use the original fitting. However, Reelight offers a stainless extension bracket on sale from their web shop that can solve this problem. The extension bracket for roller brakes enables the lights to be fitted to cycles with cooling fins for roller brakes.
