  Product Description
2009 Fox Forx 32 Float RLC Disc

Lightweight, fast, and fun. The air-sprung 32 Float fork is synonymous with high-performance. Float is the perfect fork for trail riders looking for the most adjustable, sophisticated damping you will find in a 5.5 inch fork. Fox improved the damping on the already incredibly smooth Float. And while it’s a featherweight, the chassis design boosts the legendary Fox steering precision and stiffness to weight ratio to another level. So, even though it may be the lightest kid on the block, the 32 Float is one of the toughest, too.

The same technology employed in Fox’s high-end cartridges – multiple circuits and precision shim controlled oil flow – is also found in the base-level R damper, along with external, click-by-click adjustable rebound and speed sensitive performance.

Less is more. The NEW integrated disc brake cable guide is easier to install due to it’s simplified redesign.

The New Lockout Lever is redesigned for a more ergonomic and easier to reach feel.

Ultra-light and ultra rigid post mounts pass disc fatigue tests over 25 times higher than CEN/ISO standard.

Air spring pressure is for setting sag. To get the best performance from your fork, it is necessary to set and adjust sag. (amount a shock or fork compresses with the rider sitting on the bike in a normal riding position. Best measured with an assistant holding your bike up and with the rider in full riding gear. On a fork, It is helpful to place a zip tie around one of the upper tubes.) Generally, sag should be set to 15-25% of total fork travel.

The rebound knob is located on the top of the right fork leg. Rebound controls the speed at which the fork extends after compressing. Turning the knob clockwise slows down rebound; turning the knob counterclockwise speeds up rebound. The 32 rebound knob has 12 clicks of adjustment. As a starting point, turn the rebound adjuster knob all the way clockwise (full in) until it stops, then turn counterclockwise (out) 6 clicks.

  Product Questions & Answers

Question:
Is a Star Nut included with the Race Face Diabolus Headset?

Answer:
Yes a Star Nut is included with the Race Face Diabolus Headset.

Question:
What is meant by threaded, threadless, internal, and integrated headsets?

Answer:
-Threaded headset cups press directly into the frame. The fork used for threaded headsets is threaded, and a large nut installed on the steerer tube is used to preload the bearings .
-Threadless headset cups also mount directly into the frame, but a star-nut or similar compression device installed in the fork is used to preload the bearings.
-Internal headsets are functionally similar to threadless headsets. The main difference is that internal cups press almost completely into the frame. These are often preferred for their low stack height and clean look.
-Integrated headsets are becoming more and more popular. With integrated headsets, a bearing (usually a sealed cartridge unit) drops directly into the frame eliminating the need for cups. With integrated headsets, it is not necessary to press cups into your frame, but it is important that the headtube be professionally machined to the proper dimensions to ensure smooth operation.
