Last but not least, this year they gave the BB5 a tasty new finish, new inboard/outboard adjustment knobs and a beefy two-piece, forged body.
BB5TM: Deceleration made simple
The BB5 offers Avid's Tri-AlignTM Caliper Positioning SystemTM, tool-free pad replacement, a melt-forged body and one inboard pad adjustment knob. One try and you'll wonder if they are really entry-level brakes.
Please Note: This brake is works as either a front or rear brake and fits both post mount and IS style brake mounts. This brake is sold individually. Ordering a quantity of 1 will get you one brake. Each brake includes a 160mm rotor, two brake adapters, all hardware needed for installation, plus an installation manual. Brake cables, housing, and levers are NOT included.
