2010 Crank Brothers Eggbeater 1 Pedals

How often is it that you can say a company's least expensive pedal is one of its lightest?

The answer to that is not very but with the latest Crank Brothers Eggbeater 1, there's a new pedal added to that very short list.

The cost and weight savings comes by using stamped steel for the body and wings along with a cartridge bearing and bushing combo. Otherwise, the Eggbeater 1 is the same pedal mechanically as the rest of the Eggbeater line up.

The Eggbeater 1 uses the same cleat as other Crank Brothers pedals and has 6 degrees of float with either a 15 or 20 degree release angle depending on set up. The cleats will fit any 2 bolt, SPD style shoe.

The Eggbeater 1 tips the scale at 256 grams per pair.
