Sette Razzo 2.0 X.9 29er Alloy Mountain Bike

The Razzo 2.0 uses the exact same frame 7005 aluminum frame as its big brother the 1.0. The key difference is a more trail oriented components package. The performance remains high while the bang for the buck factor goes through the roof. The Razzo 2.0 boasts components such as Rock Shox Reba Race RL 80mm fork, SRAM X7 and X9 derailleurs, Truvativ Stylo 3.3 cranks and Avid Elixir CR brakes.

The Razzo 2.0 weighs 26.3lbs (w/ pedals) in an 18" size.

Customer Reviews

"...I was skeptical about the whole "fad" but then again I was the last of my riding friends with a FS 26er, and I loved them, from my Fuel to my Intense. However, I can say this; I'm a believer, and a convert. I don't miss the FS at all. The momentum you can carry and keep with a 29er is just second to none. And this twenty niner is a BARGAIN!! I mean 1200 bucks, Mavic wheels, Stylo cranks, X9, Ti Rail Seat, Really sharp looking frame that is solid and with..."

"...if you're curious about the 29er thing then this is the bike to buy. I looked a long time for a comparable bike and they're just not out there. The component spec for this price is unheard of...nearly everything is a decent quality that you won't want to upgrade right away or at all. The frame seems of good quality, welds look good from what I can see. This is my first Sram drivetrain after 20 years of riding Shimano and I'm impressed with the X-7/X-9 combination..."

Does this bike come pre-assembled?
The Sette Razz 29er comes 95% assembled. The final steps to complete your bike are mounting the handlebars, pedals and front wheel and installing the seat and seatpost. The shifting and brakes are pre-assembled but will most likely require some fine tuning. Although you home mechanics may love the idea of putting your own bike together, to be covered under the manufacturer's warranty Sette USA requires that your bicycle be assembled by a qualified, professional bicycle mechanic.

What tools will be needed to assemble my bike?
Here are the tools required for the assembly of your bicycle:

  • 2, 3, 4, and 5mm Hex (allen) Wrenches
  • Pedal Wrench (15mm)

For adjustments and routine maintenance, it will also be handy to have the following:

  • 8mm Hex (Allen) Wrench
  • Philips Head Screwdriver

Besides the included general manual there are also comprehensive instructional guides for every component found on your bicycle. These are filled with valuable information and we strongly suggest that you hang on to these for future reference.

Will this bike need a follow up tune-up? And when?
Yes, this bike will need a follow up tune up. After the initial assembly and fine tuning of your bike, it will be necessary to perform routine follow up maintenance. Depending on how often you ride and the intensity of the terrain, we highly recommend that after a break-in period of approximately one month that you perform a thorough tune up. WE CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH! This is the most important tune up that your bike will ever receive.

Why? All bikes break-in, no matter how much they cost! Cables stretch, bolts loosen, spokes tension changes, brakes and derailleurs go out of adjustment; all normal behavior, especially when a bike is new. After performing that first tune up, everything tends to settle in and your bike will usually require less frequent adjustments. A timely tune up on a new bike will help you get many years of reliable performance.

How do I get service for my bike?
If you have any questions at all, do not hesitate to contact Price Point. As an authorized Sette USA reseller, Price Point is prepared to answer any questions you may have. If you require routine maintenance and repair, Sette USA and Price Point recommend that you bring your bike to your local qualified, professional bicycle mechanic.

What size bike do I need?
Sette has provided a size chart to help determine what size bicycle you should purchase (see the tab above, under "Fit Guide").

Some of the road bikes and frames feature what is known as a "compact" frame geometry. These do not necessarily follow traditional measurements and will feature a shorter seat tube and greater standover height. Using the fit guide and the effective top tube will give an accurate comparison to bikes with traditionally measured geometries.

Indications that you may require an alternative size to what is recommended in the Fit Guide:

  • Limited range of motion - often, when someone has suffered an injury, or has certain physical limitations or development issues due to their personal medical history, it may result in limited ranges of motion.
  • If you fall at the extreme of either end of the Fit Guide's size spectrum (i.e. tall/short).
  • If you are confident that, proportionately speaking, you have very short/long torso or legs for your body height.

In those cases, you may need to modify certain components on your bicycle. Contact Price Point and our staff of knowledgeable experts will be glad to assist you in achieving the perfect fit.

Are there any specific torque values when assembling my carbon frame and bicycle?

Yes, there are. When tightening any bolt on a carbon, or carbon clamped, part, a certain level of common sense is required. They only need to be tightened to the point of being firm, and to where the clamped part is being securely held. NO FURTHER! Over-tightening will potentially crush the carbon, damaging the part to the point where it should be replaced. DO NOT RIDE ANY CARBON PART THAT IS DAMAGED!

If you own a torque wrench, use it! The guidelines below, measured in Newton Meters, will ensure years of reliable, safe performance from your carbon frames and parts.

Seat Post Binder - 7-8N.m. The torque spec for the bolt itself is 12N.m but you risk breaking the seatpost and/or the frame seat tube if locking the clamp over 8N.m.

Headset Cap - There is no standard measurement on top caps, just make sure to secure it enough to draw together all the parts in the steering area; fork, spacers, and stem so that there is no play in them. Typically this is 3-5N.m.

Stem Handlebar Clamp - 6N.m if your stem has 5mm bolts.
