PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Sette Serum Pro XT Carbon Mountain Bike

The Serum Pro is a self-sponsored racer's dream come true. Using the exact same frame as the Serum Elite as its foundation, the Pro is outfitted with a full Shimano XT component group right down to the wheelset. If you've been mountain biking for more than a couple weeks, you know that Shimano XT has long been the perfect blend of light weight and durable.

The stoppers are Avid Elixir CR and a Fox 32 F100 R takes care of business up front. High quality Sette components round out the mix.

In a size 19" the Serum Pro weighs 22.5lbs without pedals.

Great Bike! Great Customer Service! - Jun 05, 2013

Amazingly excellent Race Mountain Bike, beautiful design, execution, with performance to match. I've been a bike rider and sometimes racer for more than 50 years now with more miles on mountain bikes than road bikes for the last 22 years. I've seen many improvements in bike design and materials but I'm now wondering how a better bike than the Sette Serum (for under $4,000 list) could ever be built. Price Point Customer Service is another best, the best customer service that have experienced in 50 years of bike riding and an estimated 130,000 bike miles. My highest praise for Price Point Customer Service and the Sette Serum Pro. Will D.

Purchased about 1.5 years ago, am a conservative 56 year old who, after riding it only about a 20 times (I've 'saved' it for when I can actually ride single-track, as I have a Trek carbon for daily use) took a simple fall while climbing a trail (ultra slow) and the seat-stay cracked at the 'stylish' curve just above the derailleur. I've taken significant, BIG crashes on my Trek over the past 12 years (like at Moab) resulting in scratches and bent metal parts, never cracked the frame. One small fall and THIS frame is trash. Unless you are GUARANTEED of never laying it down, steer clear.
