Truvativ Stylo 3.3 Team Crankset 2008
Stylo MTB: Stylo has been reborn. Newly designed for 2008 featuring enhanced stiffness, increased strength, and better shifting. We have forged the redesigned arm from AL-7050-TV, added a stiffer outer chainring and completed the offering with the Team GXP Bottom Bracket. We executed contemporary graphics and an integration of form between the arm and outer ring. This is the workhorse amongst Truvativ’s offerings. The new Stylo is as versatile as it has always been & it excels from cross-country to extreme all-mountain. Offered in triples, doubles with all-mountain guard and single speed variations with guard.

Truvativ Firex 3.3 Team Crankset 2008
Firex MTB: Firex offers value high performance. Using our lightweight GXP Bottom Bracket, and hard anodized chainrings for durability, the Firex is a true performer. The Firex crank arms are forged from strong AL-66 alloy and for 2007 we have refined the offering with black AL-7075-T6 rings.

Truvativ Blaze 3.1 Crankset 2008
Blaze MTB: The AL-66 alloy employed in our Blaze cranks is 33% stronger than the standard 6061-T6. This year we have redesigned the chainrings to include a AL-7075-T6 Alloy outer ring and blast black finish. Modeled after our bombproof Howitzer Bottom Bracket we have designed the lightweight Howitzer M15. This is a major upgrade over the ISIS in durability. This crank is a sure performer.

The AL-7050-TV adds incredible strength to the CAD designed crankarm, so much so that it eliminates the need for pedal inserts. Holzfeller has been the choice of gravity athletes for years. Combined with the Howitzer Bottom Bracket the Holzfeller continues to impress and endure. For this model year we employed new graphics and a mirror black finish for a refreshed look. The Holzfeller is available in Rock Guard doubles, DH singles, bash guard single chainring configurations as well as a unique trials guard offering.

It is an important factor in the creation of the Holzfeller line-up, the benchmark for gravity component. In its raw state AL-7050-TV is impressive but through extrusion, forging and heat treatment processes Truvativ create the highest quality AL-7050-TV Aluminum parts. AL-7050-TV is 75% stronger than commonly used 6061 aluminum. Used in Holzfeller crankset it creates double the pedal thread strength and double the BB interface strength of 6061-T6 cranks. If the goal is to use aluminum with characteristics of robust strength and stiffness then AL-7050-TV is the ideal choice.
To fabricate Truvativ's Open Core Technology a single mass of premium alloy is pushed, pulled and squeezed into a hollow crank arm. During our exclusive process the magic happens, producing supreme strength while remaining weight-conscious. Truvativ may have not been the first to fabricate hollow crank arms, but they are the best by yielding the highest stiffness-to-weight ratio out there. Cranks are stiffer, stronger, and lightweight beyond any solid forged crankset and when Truvativ use their AL-7050-TV to fabricate with the results are impressive.

Truvativ Noir MTB XC 3.3 TM Crankset 2008
Noir MTB: Noir MTB is the lightest and most refined cross-country crankset Truvativ has ever offered. A weight of 800 grams, combined with stiffness that breeds confidence in each pedal stroke, makes this crankset the Cross Country race king. Noir features a lightweight forged AL-66 Alloy spine wrapped in a unidirectional graphite layer for strength and style. The chainrings are hard anodized black. New for 2007 is the Noir single speed offering with a decadent carbon guard.
