Sette Forza ISM
With the arrival of the Forza ISM, the top-of-the-line has been moved onto an entirely higher plane.
Precision crafted from 3K high modulus carbon into an ultra light, professional level competition frame, the Forza ISM is the culmination of a lot of hard work and late nights by some of the best minds working in the cycling industry.
The end result is the new flagship for the Sette road fleet.
Visually, the most striking feature is the cut-to-fit Integrated Seat Mast. This isn't just for looks. Fabricating the seat mast and seat tube in one continuous structure plays a key role in improving the performance of the frame, saving weight and creating a much more solid connection from saddle to bottom bracket. By not being constrained to a traditional round seat post, the seat mast is sculpted to slice through the wind and shroud the rear wheel. Full internal cable routing also helps to enhance overall aerodynamics.
The theme of incorporating recent innovations continues with a full carbon fork that has a steerer tube tapering from 1.5" at the crown to 1-1/8" towards the stem. The result is razor sharp handling when you need it the most, such as those times when you're out of the saddle sprinting for the line at 70 kp/h.
Knowing the Forza ISM isn't going to be called into action just on race day, Sette added a measure of comfort by bowing the seat stays ever so slightly to allow a touch of vertical compliance without a loss in performance.
With so much attention to detail packed into the frame, there really isn't much that needs to be said about the components, except that every last part is top-of-the-line for its category! Shimano Dura-Ace 7900 is used throughout the drivetrain (You will not find a lesser part hidden anywhere on the frame.) while every other component is of equally superior quality.
The wheels are Mavic Cosmic Carbone SL outfitted with Vittoria Open Corsa EVO CX clinchers. Just stringing those words together is such a bold statement to performance that no superfluous adjectives are required.
The points of human contact are comprised of 3T's ARX Team Stem and Ergonova carbon handlebar. Perched atop the seat mast is a Fizik Arione CX saddle with Kium rails.
With an uncut seat mast and no pedals, a 57cm Forza ISM is just barely UCI legal at 15.43 pounds.

Ideally, if you're considering the Forza ISM you're the type of rider who can rattle off your seat height quicker than your phone number. If you're not, it's not a problem but it makes this next part much more important.
Trimming the seat mast to size is a pretty straightforward process and everything you need is included down to the carbon fiber friendly hacksaw but we can't stress enough the importance of the old adage "measure twice and cut once."
The Forza's mast cap provides up to 15mm of adjustment. This is plenty of room to account for future changes in equipment that can affect your seat height such as pedals, shoes and saddles.
If you're at all unsure about your "proper seat height" we highly recommend getting a professional fitting before setting up the Forza ISM. When you're making an investment in professional level equipment it only makes sense to invest yourself as well.

Sette Forza Elite Road Bike
Sette's release of the Forza Elite proves that it's possible to have two bikes that earn the right to claim top of the line status.
The differences between the Forza Elite and the Forza are so few they can be counted on one hand.
Most notably a traditional seatpost has been substituted for the Integrated Seat Mast on the Forza Elite. For many riders, a traditional seatpost provides a measure of practicality and versatility that outweighs the edge of the envelope performance advantage enabled by an Integrated Seat Mast.

Sette Forza Race Carbon Road Bike
As is the case with any bike, the most important component its frame. Nothing else will have a greater effect on the ride than its very foundation.
The Forza Race uses the exact same 3K High Modulus carbon fiber frame and fork as the Forza Pro and Elite models. The only difference is in the component selection.
Fitted to the Forza Race is a full Shimano 105 groupset. As any bicycle mechanic will attest, 105 is a highly functional component group that has Dura-Ace DNA at a fraction of the cost. Sure there's a marginal weight penalty, but if you really think it's enough to make a difference in getting to the finish line ahead of everyone else, you're simply not digging deep enough.
The wheels are Mavic Aksium capped with top-of-the-line Vittoria Open Corsa Evo CX tires. Sette's own quality components take care of the bar, stem, and an alloy seat post which is topped with a Fizik Arione CX Kium saddle.

Sette Primo 1.0 105 Carbon Road Bike
The Primo is back with an updated graphics package and new parts kit. Underneath the new color scheme is the same 12K full T800 carbon frameset that garnered so many rave reviews it entered that hallowed realm known as "instant classic."
A big part of the praise stems from the Primo's 1100 gram frame. The geometry and precision tuned carbon lay up make it perfectly suited for an all-century or an eight corner criterium with a screaming corkscrew descent.

Sette Primo 2.0 (Tiagra) Carbon Road Bike
Utilizing the same 12K full T800 carbon frameset as its big brother the Primo 1.0, the well thought out component package on the 2.0 opens the door into the realm of carbon fiber just a little bit wider.
The drive train bits are comprised of 9 speed Shimano Tiagra. Actually "bits" is a poor choice of words on our end because every last component that can be, is Shimano Tiagra all the way down to the brake calipers.
The Primo 2.0 rolls on Shimano's R500 wheelset which is equipped with Kevlar belted Maxxis Detonator tires. The fact that Sette chose to not to spec heavier and less expensive wire beaded tires is a great testament to the fact that you can be cost conscious without sacrificing quality.
In a size 57 the Primo 2.0 weighs 18.37lbs.

Sette CX-1 Ultegra Carbon Cyclocross Bike
This might be a long shot...but if you happened to do any of the races in the 2009 SoCalCross Prestige Series, there's a good chance you've already crossed paths with the CX-1. Of course you might not have noticed it. It was completely stealthed-out to be as invisible as possible. Then again, maybe you did notice it because there's not a whole lot of full carbon 'cross bikes out there.
The CX-1 breezed through an entire race season and then some with flying colors and has now made the final step from an out-in-the-open-top-secret to the most potent weapon you can buy without requiring a 7-day waiting period.
The frame and fork are hand crafted from 3K high modulus carbon fiber with a layup specific to off-pavement use. And, to put it simply, the geometry is dialed. One very intriguing aspect of the frame design is the internal cable routing that wards off grime and muck like a velvet rope scares away the riff-raff.
The component spec is just as impressive. You'll find Shimano Ultegra taking care of the shifters, derailleurs, chain and cassette. The crank is FSA's cyclocross specific Energy Mega Exo with 36/46 chain rings. The wheels are Mavic Aksium fitted with UCI legal 700 x 32 Vittoria Cross XG Pro tires. This wheelset is perfectly race worthy or makes a great training set if you've got a set of deep dish tubies hanging in the garage. Avid Shorty 4 cantis take care of deceleration and a 3T cockpit rounds out the mix.
Because weight is rather important for a cross bike particularly when you're on the bell lap approaching the final run up, you'll be happy to know that a 56cm CX-1 weighs in at 18.69lbs without pedals.

Made to the same exacting standards and out of the same 3K carbon fiber as the flagship Serum, the Serum Elite forgoes the Integrated Seat Mast in favor of a standard seatpost. For many riders, a traditional seatpost provides a measure of practicality and versatility that outweighs the edge of the envelope performance advantage enabled by an Integrated Seat Mast.
The Serum Elite's drive train is full Shimano M975 XTR- shifters, derailleurs, chain and cassette. Avid Elixir CR hydraulic disc brakes handle the stopping and a Fox 32 F-100 RLC Fit fork smoothes out the rough stuff. Topping off this stellar component package is a Mavic CrossMax ST wheelset.

It wasn't all that long ago that the magic number for an ultra light XC hardtail was 23lbs. Getting a bike that light often meant personal sacrifice such as moving back home with your parents or selling off excess bodily fluids so that such exotic parts could be afforded.
Fast forward a few years and it boggles the mind to think that Sette's "entry level" carbon hard tail tips the scales at 22.8lbs (size 19, sans pedals).
Entry level was put into quotations up there because the Serum Race is anything but.

Sette's top of the line just got a little higher. The envelope pushing 3K High Modulus Serum ISM frame is now a showcase for Shimano's next generation XTR groupset. Every part that can be XTR is XTR. There are no short cuts when it comes to component spec.
Shimano's latest XTR line up is nothing short of game changing. Once your eyes adjust to the high polished shine that harkens back to the original XTR group, you'll see that every component has been completely redesigned. The most significant change is bumping up the drive train from 9 to 10 speeds. This just wasn't a case of squeezing an extra cog onto a cassette. Ideally, if you're considering the Serum ISM you're the type of rider who can rattle off your seat height quicker than your phone number. If you're not, it's not a problem but it makes this next part much more important.
Trimming the seat mast to size is a pretty straightforward process and everything you need is included down to the carbon fiber friendly hacksaw but we can't stress enough the importance of the old adage "measure twice and cut once."
The Serum's mast cap provides up to 15mm of adjustment. This is plenty of room to account for future changes in equipment that can affect your seat height such as pedals, shoes and saddles.
If you're at all unsure about your "proper seat height" we highly recommend getting a professional fitting before setting up the Serum ISM. When you're making an investment in professional level equipment it only makes sense to invest yourself as well.
