Kenda Kosmik Lite II 26x2.0 XC Tire

The Kenda Kozmik Lite II XC Tire uses the L3R PRO rubber compound which allows to have a longer tread life, less rolling resistance and improved grip. The tread design offers greater traction and control due to its wider casing size.

  • Hard pack semi-slick design that remains traction like a knobby
  • Multi-use tread design - appropriate for racing or casual riding
  • Each knob has been designed with a specific purpose to optimize performance

Found the tire you want but still need a wheel to put it on? That's ok. We've got 26 inch wheels too.

Bought a set of these with set of superlite tubes really shed extra weight off my hardtail. I ride mostly single track and the trails down here are hardpacked and when the summer comes it gets really loose. Working good so far For the price you cant beat it. I also run slime tire liners. so far so good. Also look good on the bike.

Urban Assault Riding - Sep 20, 2015

I do very little true trail riding, but downtown Savannah streets are rough and variable. Also bombing through gravel, broken pavement and packed dirt in the historic district's lanes and alleys can be fun. I also ride through the hobo trails and abandoned areas of town. I've had these on my Specialized Rockhopper for a couple of weeks now and love them. Despite the smaller treat type they also seem to shed mud pretty quickly. They're reasonably light and have great grip on these surfaces. The only complaint isn't really a complaint, they're really kinda loud on pavement.

Very fast on gravel and hard packed single track; holds well in corners and floats over loose dirt and shallow sand patches.

I'm a roady who used to do a fair amount of mountain biking. Wanted a fast street tire that could handle the trails without compromising too much. THIS IS THE TIRE! Went on a 25 mile ride today about 2/3 pavement and 1/3 trail. It rained a lot yesterday and a bunch of the trail was puddles and very wet mud. On the road the tire is fast and fairly quiet for a mountain bike tire, so it gets an A there. For the trail I really needed a deep grippy tread today but I had these Kozmiks. I was very impressed and not too much wheelspin at all on the steep wet stuff. For the deep mud these get a B. For the rest of the trail which was turns and steeps on hard pack dirt I give the tires an A. Overall these tires are great!

Good grip on hard compact and fullerton loop type of trails. Light and rides fast on regular street road.
